about us
let's keep it simple
Essentially, an accreditation agency uses qualified assessors and an established manual to give a thumbs up or thumbs down on classes, programs, or schools. If it's thumbs down, we explain why and help to upgrade the quality. And we archive all the results. It's that simple.
we're a nonprofit orgnization
We are a 501(c)3 located in Maryville, TN. We've been at work since 2015 to serve the community of students, mentors, individual educators, tutors, teachers, and faculty schools.
we supervise and are supervised
With over 20 posted and backroom assessors, we employ double-blind review and site visits to accredit educators, programs, faculty schools, and mentor groups. We are recognized by COFSA, or the Counsel of Oversight for Faculty School Accreditation, who examine our finances and archive our manual.
faculty schools are our no.1 priority
A faculty school must be a registered nonprofit. It needs at least 3 faculty directors and 3 board advisors. It cannot own buildings, and it cannot charge an average of over $100 a credit. It must abide by state codes and, if granting degrees, must align them with religious vocations. They are the heart of the system.
we give back to stay uncompromised
We operate on 80% of our revenue. What do we do with the rest? We don't save it or invest it. At the end of that very same fiscal year, we give it back to students and faculty schools. This keeps in position to close a school without having its fees affect our budget. It this happens, we use the 20% to carry us to the next year.
